|The 86 members of the Leibniz Association have organised themselves into five Sections which represent the members’ scientific profile and specialisms.
The main tasks of the Sections are to encourage cooperation and the exchange of scientific experience and to promote junior researchers. The Sections are instrumental in developing the evaluation criteria. They conduct their business at Section conferences which are held regularly. Every Section chooses a spokesperson who represents them on the Executive Board and other committees.
