In our group, we employ electrophysiological, molecular biological and imaging approaches to study mechanisms of learning and memory at single synapses and neuronal networks.
In particular we use single particle tracking, FRAP and PALM to study the dynamic of surface molecules.
Electrophysiological methods like patch-clamp and extracellular field recordings are used in combination with the imaging approaches.
